My first day at school

It has been about 5 years since I had finished my college in Japan. While I was in Japan, I never thought about earning a master's degree because going to graduate school is very rare in Japan.

However here in the US, it is popular that people go to graduate school if you persue professional job. As someone who only has Japanese educational background, I thought going to school could make a big difference in the future.

After I experienced my 2 classes yesterday, there are things I was very surprised at and curious about. It is students that I found. Even though the school is small and located in NH, students are from all over the world. Some are from China, Saudi Arabia, and Thailand. I am excited to interact with those students.

It will be 15 months course for me to finish this school if things go well. Hope to have a great time here.

New start in my life

I know I am not good at keeping a diary but I think this is a great opportunity for me to write in English on a daily basis and keep in touch with my friends. I am 28 years old Japanese woman married to American husband and I decided to go back to school to earn master's in accounting. We are interested in quality of life and concerned about the environment. Thanks for reading!
